There are so many things to see and do in Bali, but one thing is for sure, you need to spend some time over on the south-western tip of the island exploring everything Uluwatu has to offer.
The Uluwatu Surf Villas sit on the cliff-edge with with break-taking views of the ocean. Although you feel like tucked away in a secluded tropical paradise, it’s also only a few minutes walk from local shops, Uluwatu Temple and some of Bali’s best surf breaks.
The villas themselves are spacious, with huge open-plan kitchen and living area which leads out to a private pool. Each villa has it’s own pool with ‘Bali hut’ and outdoor dining table, so it’s the perfect place for a getaway with a huge family or a bunch of friends.
My absolute favourite part of my villa was the bathroom, outdoor style bath and shower surrounded by lush greenery, but also plenty of privacy, giving you enough alone time if you’re on a getaway with a group.
While staying at Uluwatu I’d definitely recommend trying some traditional Balinese food from one of the vendors in the sleepy surf town, heading to Single Fin for a famous Sunday sesh and watching the sunset over at El Kabron while enjoying cocktails and tapas. Padang Padang beach is also a MUST.
The property also has an on-site yoga as well as bungalow and loft style accommodation so there’s something to suit everyone.
