A Week in the Whitsundays

What do you get when you put together – a handful of catamarans + sunshine + booze + some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches + a bunch of legends = The Entourage Whitsundays Tour!

I was lucky enough to grab a last minute spot on the pioneer Whitsunday’s tour in August and loved every minute of it .. well except for the hangover that almost killed me, but hey, some people just need to learn to pace themselves :/

We started the week off in Airlie Beach, and after meeting the rest of the crew and checking into the hotel we headed to the supermarket to shop up a storm. There was no way we were running out of food (or more importantly) alcohol and four trolleys and sixty banana’s later it was go time.

The next five days/nights consisted of drinking, eating and laughing way too much, exploring hidden coves, floaties, sailing, snorkeling, sunbaking, crystal clear waters and pure white sand.

By far the best part about the trip was the people, tours aren’t really my thing but after these seven nights of fun I can see why people decide to choose this way to travel. Having your itinerary sorted for you takes away the stress and time it takes to research and the bond you create with other traveller’s is something that money can’t buy – sharing memories and laughs for years to come!
